Clean Slate...
I’ve always considered blogging to be a very weird thing. Not
only is it something personal, sort of a smearing the soul onto the
vast expanse of the web, but it is also something Incredibly public
as well. Don’t get me wrong, I have no Issue letting people know
a little more about me, It’s just hard to pull it off without
sounding egotistical or completely angst riddled.
Saying this, let me just get a few points out of the way, so I can restart
my blogging life with a clean conscience.
First of all, to my Family. I am so very sorry. I made a commitment
and completely botched it. I can justify my mistake all I want (I wrote
the wrong weekend on the calendar) but it was still I who made the mistake.
I humbly ask that I not be made into the pariah, as my wool is black
enough, And I wish all the best for Colby and his new wife. I am assuming
you two are probably off doing whatever newlyweds do, so I will be calling
to apologise next week.
To everyone who’s e-mail or voice mail I have not returned, I
apologise. As a former actor I have no issue baring it all before a
live audience, it’s once they get close that I become afraid.
Those that I have become close to over the years I have found to be
the most welcoming, caring and wonderful individuals. Please do not
misconstrue my silence for arrogance, and I will try to be better in
the future.
And finally, for everyone who has ever believed in me, thank you. and
for those who’s advice has been filled with “don’ts”
and “Nos”, I look forward to proving you wrong.
cheers and jitters
