Freaky Friday?
Happy friday the 13th all... Don't let any black cats cross your path...
Unless you're a witch... then It's Okay. As long as it's your cat.
There's a lot to be said about superstition.. But who Am I to say it?
I' like to quote Groucho Marx with his interpretation of various superstitions:
- when a person's nose itches, it's a sign that it should be scratched.
- a black cat crossing you path signifies that the animal is going
somewhere.
- Thirteen at the table is unlucky when the hostess has only 12 chops.
- Singing before breakfast is a forewarning of a fight with the neighbor
- if the neighbor is trying to sleep late.
- Throwing salt over the shoulder is likely to give the impression
that the man who throws the salt has dandruff.
- finding a four leaf clover is a sign that you have been down on
your hands and knees.
- To get out of bed on the wrong side probably means you had too much
the night before.
- To carry a rabbits foot is a sign that you are a good shot with
a gun - or have a friend who is.
- when tree men get a light of one match it is indicative of the fact
that they only have one match... or are scotsmen.
