Manifest Destiny...
I'm a big believer in Karma, mass subconscious and all that other mumbo
jumbo. But If there is anything I believe in it's that concept of manifest
destiny. That when you put something out into the universe It comes
back. If you prepare for success you become successful. If you act professional
you will have a profession (I feel like the Sphinx from Mystery Men)...
Here's a little example of how the concept can come back and bite you
on the conceptual fanny...
At work, I have been trying really hard to move up from Busser to server,
I tend to work expo more than pub shifts, and I have made my intentions
perfectly clear, as to which direction I want to go: I want to serve,
not bartend.
If you've noticed... "Ed" is a Bartender. I'll give you one
guess what i've been doing... who I've been stepping in for when things
get tight...
It's not the server...
