What a
blast!
I normally would let Betty or Hank take the reigns for
this post. But I think I should just let you know what Mr. J (or Ed
Appleby, as I like to be known in the flesh and blood world) has been
up to.
First, Let me just say what a freaking BLAST drawing
this strip was! It was a challenge that I loved every second of... And
I'm really happy with the results (artists cant say that often)
Next, I've been spending all week getting some shirt
designs ready for Emerald City Comicon, only to send my application
a day too late as artist's alley sells out. As Maxwell Smart would say:
"missed it by that much".
However, I am still going to get some quotes from various
screen printers, and get ready to go into production at the drop of
a coffee mug. In order to do that, I need to know what you guys think.
I'm going to post a few designs on Monday, with some
more coming during the week. If it does come down to it, I'll only be
getting one or two done up for this con, and all of the designs should
be there in button form. This all assumes that I move up the "waiting
list" quickly enough to get the run done.
Finally, push come to shove, I will be at ECCC... but
only as a guest.
